“CASUZZE I MORI MUSEUM” consists of two exclusive apartments, created from the foundations of an old 1930s Sicilian farmhouse.
The entire rural estate, located in the heart of the Sicilian countryside, stands on a small hill overlooking the south-eastern coast of Sicily, facing the stretch of sea that runs from Portopalo di Capo Passero, past the ancient fishing village of Marzamemi and the beaches of Noto, all the way to Syracuse.
The “CASUZZE”, those small houses that once served as the stables and granaries of the masseria, have been renovated and transformed into elegant apartments equipped with every comfort to make guests feel welcome and at home.
They offer a unique and original place to enjoy a relaxing stay; elegant yet still preserving the charm of traditional Sicilian rural homes, where the purity of the air and nature blends with a simple and refined style.
Inside the former henhouse, a small museum area has been created—the soul of the masseria, “the link between past and present.”
Here visitors can discover tools and objects typical of Sicilian farming families, found during the renovation works: a space where one can observe and appreciate items and corners that recount stories, moments of life and local traditions.
The attentive and welcoming owners, Giuseppe (Don Peppe) and Sandra (Donna Sandra), are delighted to welcome guests into their Casuzze, making them feel at home and helping them plan their stay in the best possible way—promoting the beauty, history and traditions of Pachino and the nearby magical fishing village of Marzamemi through cultural and experiential tourism.
Staying at Casuzze I Mori Museum is not just a holiday—it is a unique experience, offering the chance to discover the authentic flavours and scents of our land.
